We Made It

Hey Everybody! Allison and I are here in San Francisco! This is a park around the corner from our new place. It shows a boat, the city skyline, what looks to be a rather large floating cigarette butt, and Aly pondering what will happen if the moon pops on that pointy building... Anyway, life is good. This place is, in the wise words of Will Ferrell, scrumtralescent.

So at the new place we have a roofdeck where we can hang out and this is what it looks like. Here's Alcatraz... ... and the Golden Gate...

... and the Bay Bridge...

... and the Aquatic Park at Sundown.

Here's the view of the city from the living room...

... a closer look...

Needless to say, the views are sick, and not just from the apartment. This city is just so naturally beautiful. Everywhere you go, with the exception of the occasional crackhead throwing up on himself, there's something rediculously breathtaking. For example, after drooling on the roof, we can take a walk through the marina, to check this little beauty, the palace of fine arts (pic from cell camera, 1 mpx):

That isn't a fountain either, its a humpback whale...

Anyway, it's also cool that the Sox and A's play each other, so it is not a total blackout of Red Sox baseball. Here's a pic of Mr Stewart and I enjoying the Sox in Oakland, about 43 hours after Aly and I arrived in the city. The Sox were down two going into the eighth. Jaime shouted to the entire section "I want the Boston Red Sox to Win!" and I added, brilliantly, "I concur" and viola! Sox rally for a 7-5 victory. It was, as Peter Griffin would say, "freakin sweat" too, because at least half the crowd was Sox fans.

Anyway, that's enough for tonight. More photos from the trip, last night in Boston, etc to come soon. Then this will actually work like a real website fitting of its name (news, commentary, etc) after I figure out how to really run it. This should eleviate the long emails...
Don't all thank me at once.

On that note, I should start with a sample- a bit of humor from Larry David. In the future, feel free to email these and any other pictures/articles/etc to anyone (within reason) and also feel free to leave commentary of your own.
Be good.
